Whilst it is too early to assess the outcomes of the Government’s Long-Term Plan for Towns, the inclusion of revenue funding is an improvement to the previous funding programmes. We are supportive of the Government’s plans to continue the Long- Term Plan for Towns and thus provide stability to local authorities. Any amendments to the programme should ensure that resource funding remains a core feature of the programme.
