Recommendation
We recommend that the due diligence requirements contained in the AI Bill should be differentiated, based on the role of the relevant actor along the AI supply chain, and the nature and seriousness of the risk posed by the relevant AI model or system. To identify the nature and scope of those due diligence obligations, the EU AI Act may provide a useful point of departure, but the provisions should be tailored to the requirements of the UK.
