Recommendation
When carrying out Public Body Reviews of each regulator, the Government should publish an assessment of whether the regulator has the necessary resources to carry out its functions. As part of these reviews, the Government should consider and assess whether there are feasible opportunities for granting regulators the power to raise their own revenues. ( Paragraph 131)
