We welcome the Minister’s recognition that the different parts of government—including DWP and the NHS—are ‘in this together.’ As we said in our Pensioner Poverty report, a whole system approach to prevention is needed if the government is to achieve its goal of building a health and social care system that is sustainable for future generations.
