The Government is committed to ensuring the refreshed WPS NAP retains a robust governance structure, recognising the strategic importance of external scrutiny and accountability. The Government will consider introducing annual reporting to Parliament but wishes the Committee to note that the NAP commits to a biennial written report. The specifics of the updated Governance Structure, including reporting to Parliament, will be published as part of the 2026 WPS NAP Refresh. 56. The WPS NAP will be refreshed in 2026 to ensure alignment with wider government strategies and coherence across policy objectives.
