Recommendation (the committee's words)
In the absence of PAS-79 guidance which was withdrawn in August 2021, it is imperative that the British Standards Institute publish its new standard as soon as possible. We urge the Government to report on its consultation on Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans at the earliest opportunity.
