FCDO developing Antarctic Strategy to enhance transparency of UK interests
Conclusion
We welcome the former Minister’s announcement that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office is developing an Antarctic Strategy to define the UK’s interests and ambitions in the region. A publicly available strategy will enhance transparency of the UK’s interests in Antarctica, and promote greater parliamentary interest and debate on Antarctic issues. (Conclusion, Paragraph 30)
