Conclusion (the committee's words)
To truly take advantage of opportunities for weight management service provision outside of general practice, data sharing needs to be improved. A failure to act risks inappropriate prescribing and a continued burden on GPs who are asked to confirm patient details or update records. (Conclusion, Paragraph 47)
