Recommendation
The government should also launch a public awareness campaign within the next three months to drive improved uptake of the Healthy Start scheme, modelled on the approach taken in Scotland. The government must also commit to publish annual data on uptake of the Healthy Start scheme, with as granular geographical information as possible, so that the impact of efforts to drive higher uptake can be monitored and evaluated.
