Recommendation 6

The Infrastructure Delivery Pipeline (IDP) sets out the infrastructure projects and programmes the Scottish Government will fund over the next four financial years. The Committee notes that the Cairngorm funicular railway does not feature in the 2026 IDP. The Committee therefore asks for information from the Scottish Government on its plans for the funicular, given the project does not appear to be included in the Scottish Government's infrastructure funding priorities for the next four years.
