Thematic sessions

In the 2025-2026 parliamentary year thematic sessions allowed us to hear evidence relevant to 29 individual petitions. Thematic sessions have allowed the Committee to make the best use of limited time and contributed to effective scrutiny. We recommend the Session 7 Committee continues with the practice of thematic evidence sessions and seeks to further develop this approach.
