The Committee is content with delegation of the powers in principle and that they are subject to the negative procedure (for the power in section 40(5)(d) of the Offensive Weapons Act 2019), and the affirmative procedure (for the powers in sections 40(4)(a)(ii), 40D(8)(a)(ii) and 40E of that Act).
