Recommendation 11

The Committee, along with the Finance and Public Administration Committee, was asked on two occasions this session to share its views on scope to inform the review of the Fiscal Framework. This is due to the Committee’s remit to scrutinise social security spending. We would recommend that our successor committee liaises with the Scottish Government at an early opportunity to enquire when input might be requested, to ensure that sufficient notice is given to enable the Committee to take evidence to inform its response.
