Mrs A complained about action taken by Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority about local planning matters and that she had not received a response to concerns raised.
The Ombudsman found that the Authority had provided Mrs A with a response to a planning enforcement complaint submitted, that detailed the conclusions of the Authority’s investigation. However, further to additional concerns raised outside of this process, Mrs A had not received a direct response from the Authority, in line with its concerns and complaint policy. The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Authority’s agreement to provide a full response directly to Mrs A to address the concerns raised, to confirm any relevant action and decisions taken by the Authority. It agreed to provide this within 4 weeks.
