Mr X complained that the dental practice did not fully respond to all aspects of his complaint, submitted to it in August 2023.

The Ombudsman decided that the dental practice had failed to respond fully to the complaint. She said this caused frustration and uncertainty to Mr X. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.

The Ombudsman sought and gained the agreement of the dental practice to issue a further written response to Mr X to address all the issues raised within his original complaint.
