The investigation team did not make any recommendations in relation to this alleged incident and subsequent review of the findings. However it has concluded that following a review of the current Policies, Practices and Procedures that there is a need to develop a specific policy to address the management of Visitors and VIP’s who attend Trust premises. This piece of work will be led by HEY’s Governance and Safe Guarding Team, supported by the Named Nurse for Children. This work will be completed by May 2014.
