The Governor should ensure that staff manage prisoners at risk of suicide or self-harm in line with national guidelines. In particular: Understanding their responsibilities and the need to share all relevant information about risk; Assessing the level of risk and recording the reasons for decisions; Conducting ACCT reviews as specified in the national instructions.
