PUWER 4(1) - Robinson Brothers Ltd have failed to ensure the health and safety of their employees in that they have failed to ensure that work equipment, specifically Bulk Methanol Storage Tank T122 (manufacturer’s job number 620186) and Tank T123 are so constructed as to be suitable for the purpose for which they are intended, in that they have not been bolted down so as to prevent movement of the tanks. PUWER 6(2) - Robinson Brothers Ltd have failed to ensure the health and safety of their employees in that they have failed to ensure that structural steelwork supporting safety critical pipework, vessels and other equipment is in itself included on the register of safety critical equipment, and so inspected at suitable intervals to ensure that any deterioration of said steelwork can be detected and remedied in good time, so as to avoid a significant loss of containment.
