Improvement Notice 315508538 - LEEDS/EA4/021225/WKPE2 Issued as you have failed to ensure the health and safety of your employees in that you have failed to ensure that measures are taken which are effective to prevent access to any dangerous part of machinery or stop the movement of any dangerous part of machinery before any part of a person enters a danger zone. Namely access can be gained to the tooling of 8 of your CNC machines due to defeated interlocks on the machinery doors. Improvement Notice 315508550 - LEEDS/EA4/021225/WKPE3 Issued as you have failed to ensure the health and safety of your employees in that you have failed to ensure that the exposure of your employees to substances hazardous to health, namely the mist generated from metalworking fluids in your various CNC Machining Centres, is either prevented or, where this is not reasonably practicable, adequately controlled. Improvement Notice 315508552 - LEEDS/EA4/021225/WKPE4 Issued as you have failed to ensure the health and safety of your employees in that you have failed to ensure that employees who are liable to be exposed to metalworking fluids are provided with such health surveillance as is appropriate having regards to the risks to their health and safety.
