Whilst staff are required to complete safeguarding training (including domestic violence training), and our processes direct all staff members to domestic violence process/workflows, it would be useful to perform an audit to assess if individual staff members understand the markers of domestic violence and what they should do in a practical day to day working setting. We will audit staff members to understand working knowledge of how they should assess safeguarding abuse and what to do in this scenario. A Microsoft Teams form will be generated asking staff across the organisation to complete. Upon completion, we will arrange a virtual training session covering domestic violence markers and themes so this policy can be embedded into practice. We will aim to give participants of the session a post-training feedback audit to determine if it aided participants in putting policy into practice.
