Summary
The review identified missed opportunities to identify and respond to the perpetrator's coercive and controlling behaviour, particularly given his history of abuse with a previous partner. It also highlighted the need for better support for children exposed to domestic abuse and improved promotion of the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme.
