Summary
The review identified a widespread lack of understanding of coercive control among professionals and the wider community, leading to missed opportunities for intervention. Gaps in information sharing between health services and with educational institutions also hindered a comprehensive multi-agency response to the victim's vulnerabilities and the perpetrator's abusive behaviour.
