1. To support positive outcomes for people experiencing care, the provider should ensure that all aspects of staff leadership and management arrangements are objective. This will include, but is not limited to recruitment, supervision and performance management. This will reduce the risk that conflict of interests impact negatively on the care that people receive. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes' (HSCS 4.19).
