1. The provider should ensure policies and procedures relating to staff wellbeing are clear, accessible and followed effectively. This should include, but not be limited to, information about how to raise concerns, including whistleblowing and conflict resolution. When concerns are raised, staff should be informed of the outcome of any processes initiated and made aware of further options available to them. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: ‘I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes’ (HSCS 3.14).
