1. To ensure that children's health and wellbeing needs are consistently met, the childminder should make sure that children experience a clean and well maintained home. This should include, but is not limited to, removing mould from the bathroom and kitchen, ensuring a dust free environment and deep cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state 'I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well maintained premises, furnishings and equipment' (HSCS 5.24).
