Recommendation 1
1. To support positive outcomes, the provider should implement a comprehensive training plan to ensure staff have the skills and knowledge to meet people's needs. This should include support for achieving Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration conditions and address staff's individual learning needs. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes' (HSCS 3.14).
