Recommendation 1
1. To support robust infection and control, the provider should carry out a review of ancillary hours to ensure staffing levels are sufficient for full adherence to cleaning schedules and to enable daily cleaning of all bedrooms. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well maintained premises, furnishings and equipment' (HSCS 5.24).
