1. The childminder should develop a more structured approach to self-evaluation and quality assurance, using the Quality Improvement Framework to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I use a service and organisation that are well led and managed' (HSCS 4.23).
1. To further support children's safety, wellbeing and comfort, the childminder should reduce and ultimately discontinue the routine use of car journeys and buggies as sleep environments, ensuring children are provided with appropriate sleep spaces that reflect current safer sleep guidance. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'My environment is secure and safe' (HSCS 5.17)
Conditions of registration
The care service may be provided to a maximum of 6 children at any one time up to 16 years of age of whom no more than 3 are not yet attending primary school and of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months. Numbers include the children of the childminder's family/household.
From 20 August 2026 to 29 June 2027 at the times stated below only (or before if a preschool child leaves the service) the care service may be provided to a maximum of 6 children at any one time up to 16 years of age of whom no more than 4 are not yet attending primary school and of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months. Numbers include the children of the childminder's family/household. School term times Tuesday & Thursday - 08:00 to 09:00

Minded children can only be cared for by persons named on the registration certificate.
Overnight care will not be provided.
