1. As part of the quality assurance procedures the manager, in partnership with parents, staff and children when appropriate, should continually audit and review children's records. Having a clear improvement agenda will allow the service to monitor and audit records appropriately. This is to ensure the service complies with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state: "I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes." (HSCS 4.19).
