Recommendation 1
1. To keep children safe and minimise the risk of spreading infection, the provider should review their infection prevention and control policy and procedures, including but not limited to ensuring the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly and stored appropriately. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS), which state: ‘My environment is secure and safe’ (HSCS 5.17).
