Recommendation 1

1. To ensure children’s safety and wellbeing the provider must ensure that systems for recording and communicating medication administration are robust, clear, and consistently followed at all times. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: ‘Any treatment or intervention that I experience is safe and effective’ (HSCS 1.24).
