This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: “I have a clean and comfortable environment where the wellbeing of myself and other people using the service is protected.” (HSCS 1.31)
1. To enhance children’s play and learning experiences, the childminder should declutter and organise resources within the play environment. Creating more clearly defined play spaces will make the environment more inviting, encouraging choice and independence. This should contribute to a higher quality learning environment and improved outcomes for children. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: “I am supported to play and learn in an environment that is well designed for me.” (HSCS 2.27)
