Recommendation 1

1. To keep children safe and secure, the provider should ensure that appropriate measures and procedures are in place for children and families to enter and exit the premises safely. This should include but is not limited to reviewing arrangements with relevant professionals. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: “My environment is secure and safe” (HSCS 5.19).
