Recommendation 1
1. The service should ensure that the planning of staff rotas for people’s support visits is completed more than one week in advance. This is to increase reassurance for supported people regarding who will be visiting them and when, as well as allowing staff to better plan their time away from work. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: ‘My care and support is consistent and stable because people work together well’ (HSCS 3.19).
