1. To promote consistent relationships and continuity of care, the manager should continue with plans to establish a core staff team. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I can build a trusting relationship with the person supporting and caring for me in a way we both feel comfortable with' (HSCS 3.8).

2. To promote children’s health and wellbeing the manager should continue with plans to ensure that there is a balance of skills and experience across the staff team. This should include but not be limited to staff regularly completing training in first aid and child protection and using current best practice guidance to consistently inform their practice. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes' (HSCS 3.14).

1. In order to promote children’s health and wellbeing the manager should ensure that staff have a consistent knowledge and ability in maintaining and updating children’s personal plans. T his should include ensuring that information is detailed, clear and easily accessible. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'My personal plan (sometimes referred to as a care plan) is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met as well as my wishes and choices' (HSCS 1.15).

1. The manager should embed a system of quality assurance and self-evaluation that promotes sustained improvements which positively impact on children’s experiences and outcomes. This should include but not be limited to; • Ensuring that reviews of records are made within required timeframes • Promoting an appropriate pace of change for planned improvements • Supporting staff and families to reflect and contribute to the evaluation of the service. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes' (HSCS 4.19).

1. The provider and manager should ensure that there are enough staff in place to consistently meet children’s individual needs. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS), which state that: 'My needs are met by the right number of people' (HSCS 3.15).
