1. By 31 March 2026, to ensure people's care and support needs are met effectively, the provider must submit to the Care Inspectorate, a detailed plan of how they intend to manage the completion of the remaining work detailed in the most up to date environmental action plan issued as a condition of the service's registration. The plan must be time framed and detail mitigations for how the planned work may affect outcomes for people living in the service. This is to comply with Regulation 4(1)(a) of The Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 (SSI 2011/210). This is to comply with Regulation 14(d) of The Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 (SSI 2011/210). This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that:
1. In order to promote the dignity and wellbeing of people living in the service, the provider should produce an environmental audit and carry out any actions identified within the specified time frames. This should include but is not limited to: a) ensuring all surfaces are fully cleanable in all private and communal areas b) replacement of any damaged flooring c) repair or replacement of damaged fixtures or furnishings d) replacement of the surface beside the servery in the kitchenette e) ensure the wall where the food trolley is stored is smooth and cleanable; and f) include the views of people living in the service with regards to any identified refurbishment. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well maintained premises, furnishings and equipment' (HSCS 5.24).
Conditions of registration
To provide a care service to a maximum of 30 older people.
The provider will comply with the action plan as agreed with the Care Inspectorate at registration. The action plan must be displayed along with the certificate of registration. Any proposed change to the action plan must be agreed with the Care Inspectorate.
