Recommendation 1

1. To support children's health and wellbeing, the provider should develop their auditing and monitoring procedures to include, but not limited to identifying and accessing suitable training and development for staff, particularly in regards to supporting children with additional support needs and outdoor play, medication and safety of outdoor camps. The provider must ensure staff are trained, competent, skilled and in their practice. This is to ensure the service complies with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state: "I experience high quality care and support based on relevant evidence, guidance and best practice" (HSCS 4.11).
