Requirements & recommendations
1. To help ensure that staff receive appropriate support to carry out their role effectively, the provider should ensure that there is regular supervision for staff which is in line with their organisational policy. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: ‘I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes’. (HSCS 3.14)

1. To provide a service to people with learning and/ or physical disabilities living in their own homes.
2. The support will be provided by one staff team as agreed during this registration and where there are any subsequent changes the Care Inspectorate should be informed.
3. The provider shall inform service users and their representatives that the care service is registered with the Care Inspectorate and shall ensure that they are made aware of the name of the registered service with its contact details, as it appears on this certificate.
