1. By 21 July 2026, the provider must ensure that there are robust and consistent quality assurance systems in place to monitor all aspects of the service provided. To achieve this, the provider must as a minimum: a) update the service improvement plan to drive and monitor the development of the service; b) improve oversight of accidents, incidents and adverse events to identify actions taken to mitigate reoccurrence; c) ensure appropriate notifications are submitted to the relevant statutory bodies; and d) implement robust risk assessments for staff lone working with control measures identified and adhered to. This is in order to comply with regulations 3 and 4(1)(a) of The Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 (SSI 2011/210).

This includes arrangements for managing short-notice absences and emergencies, to maintain continuity and quality of care; c) working patterns are monitored to prevent fatigue, and measures are in place to support staff wellbeing, including access to appropriate rest breaks, supervision, and wellbeing resources; d) risks associated with lone working are appropriately assessed, documented, and managed.
