1. To further develop the service for young people, the provider should develop a system of quality assurance, including self-evaluation. This should include, but is not limited to: a) develop their knowledge and understanding around self-evaluation processes and use these reflections to improve practice b) develop a clear and effective plan to maintain and improve the service c) routinely monitor areas of practice and provide their assistant with effective feedback to help improve outcomes. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HCSC) which state that: ‘I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes’ (HSCS 4.19).
