1. To ensure children experience care and support that meets their needs, the childminder should evidence review of personal plans whenever there are significant changes and at least every six months to ensure that information is accurate to keep children safe and promote their wellbeing. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards, which state that: ‘My personal plan (sometimes referred to as a care plan) is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met, as well as my wishes and choices’ (HSCS 1.15).
Conditions of registration
The childminder may care for a maximum of 6 children at any one time up to 16 years of age:
of whom no more than 6 are under 12 years;
of whom no more than 3 are not yet attending primary school and;
of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months.
Numbers include the children of the childminders family/household.
From 11 January 2021 until 15 September 2024 (or earlier if a child leaves the service before this date) as identified in the variation request dated 8 December 2020 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:00pm 4:30pm during term time only.
The childminder may care for a maximum of 7 children at any one time up to 16 years of age:
of whom no more than 7 are under 12 years;
of whom no more than 3 are not yet attending primary school and;
of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months.
Numbers include the children of the childminders family/household.
From 30 January 2023 until 30 July 2023 one additional named child not yet attending primary school may be cared for on a Tuesday between 09:30 and 13:30 during term time only (or earlier if a child leaves the service before this date) as identified in the variation request dated 5 January 2023
The childminder may care for a maximum of 6 children at any one time up to 16 years of age:

Minded children cannot be cared for by persons not named on the registration certificate.
Overnight care will not be provided.
