1. To support consistently positive outcomes for children the provider should ensure that relevant and up to date records are maintained. This should include but is not limited to: a) Developing and maintaining quality assurance practices and records, including self-evaluation, feedback from children and families and improvement planning. b) Ensuring that children’s personal plans are sufficiently detailed to accurately reflect their individual needs and are reviewed in partnership with parents at least every six months, or more frequently where required. c) Developing and sustaining effective systems for record keeping to ensure information is well organised, accessible and supports the efficient delivery of the service. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: 'I use a service and organisation that are well led and managed' (HSCS 4.23); and
Conditions of registration
Number(s) and Age(s) of person(s) to whom service may be provided:
1. To provide a care service to a maximum of 6 children at any one time under the age of 16, of whom no more than 3 are not yet attending primary school and of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months. Numbers are inclusive of children of the childminder's family.
Any other conditions unique to the service:
2. Minded children cannot be cared for by persons other than those named on the certificate.
3. Overnight care will not be provided.
