Recommendation 1
1. To help ensure children's comfort, the provider should ensure improvements are made to children's changing areas. This should include, but is not limited to, improving the temperatures within nappy changing areas. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social care Standards (HSCS) which states that: 'My environment has plenty of natural light and fresh air, and the lighting, ventilation and heating can be adjusted to meet my needs and wishes.' (HSCS 5.21).
