1. In order that staff can meet the full range of people's care and support needs, the provider should carry out training needs analysis regularly, deliver relevant training and evaluate staff ability to put their learning into practice. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards which state that: "I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent, skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes". (HSCS 3.14).
