1. To support good outcomes for people, and promote continuous improvement, the service provider should: a)review the range of audits and quality assurance checks currently in place to check whether these cover all the necessary aspects of service provision. b) introduce regular mattress audits into the quality assurance process. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes'. (HSCS 4.19).
