1. By 31 March 2026, the provider must ensure that any person living at the premises, which are used for the provision of the care service, is fit to be in the proximity of children. To do this, the provider must, at a minimum: Fully complete and return a Police Act Disclosure form issued for any person living in the premises used for the provision of the care service, who is 16 years of age or older and who has not already been assessed as fit by the Care Inspectorate, together with all relevant fees. This is to comply with Regulation 4 (1) (a) and Regulation 12 (2) of The Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 (SSI 2011/210). This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I use a service and organisation that are well led and managed' (HSCS 4.23) and 'My environment is secure and safe' (HSCS 5.17
