1. The service provider should ensure that the management team initiates a quality assurance system that identifies areas for improvement. The provider should ensure the management team draw up an improvement plan and ensure the management team has a process in place to review the action taken and improvements made, This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes.' (HSCS 4.19)
2. To maintain transparent reporting procedures, the provider should ensure all notifiable events are submitted to the Care Inspectorate timeously.
