Recommendation 1
1. In order to ensure that people receive responsive care and support, the management team should ensure appropriate systems are in place to monitor the quality of care plans and provide timely reviews. This should include involvement of individuals or their representatives at care planning and review discussions, and measures put in place to support long term gaps in staffing at senior level. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: ' My care and support meets my needs and is right for me' (HSCS 1.19).
