1. To support more positive outcomes for children, the childminder should strengthen their approach to continuous improvement. This should include, but is not limited to, including meaningful consultation with families about identified areas for development and clear planning of the actions required to address these. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes' (HSCS 4.19).

1. To ensure children's individual health and wellbeing needs are met, the childminder should further develop children's personal plans. This should include, but not be limited to, recording clear information about how each child’s needs will be met and ensuring personal plans are reviewed at least once every six months with families. This to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that:

'My personal plan is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met, as well as my wishes and choices' (HSCS 1.15).
