Recommendation 1

1. To ensure children continue to benefit from a service that is focussed on high quality care, play and learning. The childminder should strengthen quality assurance processes. This should include, but not limited to establishing consistency in reviewing and updating information, developing policies that reflect the service and evidencing regular consultation with families. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which states that: ‘I experience high quality care and support based on relevant evidence, guidance and best practice’ (HSCS 4.11)
